Description

A celebratory contemporary dance event that is part modernist archive, part pop-culture pageantry, part drag extravaganza and all completely fabulous. Jesse Factor’s The Metamarthasis is a studied synthesis of the “High Priestess of Modern Dance” Martha Graham and the “Queen of Pop” Madonna.

This event will feature excerpts from Factor’s evening-length dance work The Marthaodyssey along with some new surprises.
